Voting for a Change: Impact of the 19th Amendment on our Community
On May 19, 2019, the Neenah Historical Society opened our exhibit. This year (2019) marks the one hundredth anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment in Wisconsin, which was the first state to vote in favor of ratification. The exhibit will feature the stories of women in our community and the world around them in 1919-1920. The exhibit will stay open through November 2020.
The Neenah Historical Society is open on weekdays for tours of the exhibit from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. from May 19, 2019 through November of 2020, and on Sunday afternoons from May 19, 2019, through June 30, 2019, from noon until 4 p.m. You can also visit by appointment by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org or (920)729-0244.
