Executive Director

 The Neenah Historical Society Board is seeking a passionate and experienced Executive Director to lead our organization. The ideal candidate will be a relationship builder, able to connect with funding partners, write grant proposals, and demonstrate strong organizational skills. The Executive Director will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Neenah Historical Society, ensuring our mission is fulfilled through effective leadership, fundraising, and community engagement.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations, staff, and volunteers.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with donors, funding partners, and the community.

  • Research, write, and submit grant applications.

  • Oversee budgeting, planning, and program development.

  • Represent the organization at events and in the media.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and two years of supervisory and nonprofit experience preferred. Proficient computer skills.

Schedule:

  • 30 hours per week - Monday through Friday. Some nights and weekends for meetings, special events, and programs.

Salary:

  • Starting Wage: $22 per hour
