From the Ihde family photograph collection. This collection comes from the Neenah Public Library which got it from Dale E. Treleve, who acquired the photos from Hazel Miller Grady's estate. These photos originally belonged to Lillie L. Milnitz, Clara M. Miller and Hazel Miller Grady. The people depicted: Herman Ihde (1877-1943) and his wife, Emma R. Milnitz Ihde (1880-1961). Emma's parents were Henry Milnitz and Amelia Kunze Milnitz. Herman and Emma wed in 1902. They purchased their 80 acre farm in section 25 in the Town of Clayton in 1908. Their children were: Millard, who assused proprietorship of the farm after his father's death. Millard and Mildred had four sons and two daughters. Marguerite taught school before marrying Hubert Helm in 1934. They farmed in the Town of Winneconne and had two sons and one daughter. Evalyn, taught school before marrying Harvey B. Treleven in 1934. They owned Trleven Electric in Omro for 34 years starting in 1944. They had three sons. As for this photograph, it is a family gathering circa 1903 at Louisa (Rohrbach) Idhe farm in Section 3, Town of Clayton. Currently 9463 Oakwood Road. Louisa (1837-1917) married Frederick Ihde (1825-1888) who purchased the farm in 1863. The caption is: Grandmother Ihde's home. Clara Milnitz, Mr. Milnitz and Mrs. Milnitz (Emma's folks), Herman Ihde, Emma Ihde, Grandmother Ihde, Sarah Wismer, Mrs. Christ Ihde, Mr. Christ Ihde, Irene Ihde, Mr. Christ Meltz, Christie Meltz Jr., Mrs. Christ Meltz, Henry Engel, Alonzo Engel, Ella Engel and the baby Marjorie Engel.
